Marouane Fellaini sent plenty of Manchester United fans on Twitter into meltdown after showing off his brand new haircut on social media.

The Belgium international, famed for his trademark afro, finally got himself down to the barbers after years of growing it out.

Having started this season with a blonde dye job, the former Everton man has decided to go for a smart short back and sides job.

Naturally, plenty of fans were amazed and horrified in equal measure at the sight of the 30-year-old without his trademark 'do.

In fact, plenty of fellow pros were also quick to make fun of Fellaini's new look.

Manchester City captain and Belgium teammate Vincent Kompany wrote on Instagram: "It's photoshopped, it can't be true!"
