Halo Infinite's multiplayer beta is now in full swing, with players getting acquainted with the gunplay, map design, and of course which weapons shine for their excellence.

Halo has always been about taking map control, knowing which tools are right for the job, controlling spawns, and making the most of your advantage on all fronts mentioned.

While we've already discussed our Halo weapon tier list, we want to dive deep and focus on those guns that we believe are far and the best in the game as of right now.

Let's not beat around the bush anymore and get down to it.

Best weapons in Halo Infinite multiplayer

We've spent some time with the game and after some discussion,  selected the following weapons as the undisputed best in the game.

As always, keep in mind that this list, while we try to make it as accurate as possible, is not a definitive one, as a lot of things are based on personal preferences.

BR75 (Battle Rifle)

Old reliable, the BR feels better than ever in Halo Infinite. Its three-burst fire rate feels impactful when you land hits and can still knock out opponents in four rounds.

Versatile as it's useful at mid and long-range, with good aim control you can still outgun opponents even when up against more traditional close-range weapons. Simply put, it's the best gun in the game, and we're glad it's that way.

Needler

The iconic weapon of the Covenant arsenal is in tip-top shape in Halo Infinite. Responsive, retaining its high fire rate, impressive time-to-kill, and always reliable auto lock projectiles, it earns its spot as one of the best guns in the game.

Of course, the Needler's downside, as always, is the ammo capacity, taking into account the number of bullets you need to fire to kill a single Spartan, nonetheless, it's a great weapon that has a high impact across all levels of play.

S7 Sniper

The S7 Sniper is the ultimate long-range weapon in Halo Infinite, although it may have found its match (more on that later). Hitting the long-range headshots feels as satisfying as ever, and it seems 343 Industries built certain 4v4 maps with wide sightlines in mind, making this sniper that much more important.

Let's not forget about those sweet, sweet, no scopes, the quintessential Halo dopamine rush everyone should experiment at least once.

M41 Spnkr (Rocket Launcher)

When people talk about controlling power weapons, chances are there's a Rocket Launcher in place. It's a devastating, intuitive, simple to use piece of weaponry that demolishes Spartans and vehicles alike.

In ranked, its biggest downside is that it will only spawn with two shots, so you better make the most of them when you get them in your hands.

Shock Rifle

There's a new sniper in town and that's the Shock Rifle. It boasts the one-shot capabilities of the S7, but adds an area of effect damage to nearby Spartans and with enough shots, it can also disable vehicles.

It has an even faster fire rate with its only downside compared to the S7 is the fact that it has less zoom and needs a bit of time to recharge shots so they do full damage, other than that, have fun sniping people with this brand-new gun.
